I have to enter the "Displays" option in MonitorControl and enter "255" into the DDC Max setting under advanced settings.įurther each display gets a new identifier on each boot so I have to go in an re-edit the DDC max setting after every boot. MonitorControl doesn't automatically detect the necessary settings to enable brightness control with Apples LED Cinema Display. I use 3 Apple Cinema Displays with a Mac Studio (USB-C to Mini DP).
